Initiative aims to boost progress in the radiocommunications sector
In search of solutions to the various challenges facing the radiocommunications scenario, the vice president of Aerbras – Association of Radiocommunication Companies of Brazil, Dane Avanzi, last month made an unofficial visit to the Republic of Angola, specifically to the city of Luanda. The objective was to bring the local radiocommunication-related entities closer to Aerbras, thereby generating future partnerships for the sector’s improvement in both markets.
Angola is a country whose industry is very incipient, and despite having a still rudimentary infrastructure, it is in full development, embracing the potential seen by foreign investment, mainly from Brazil, China and Portugal.
During his trip, Dane visited Inacom – Angolan National Institute of Communications, and the radio company Transanet, in order to exchange experiences, understand the local challenges of radio communication, seek mutual learning and analyze other realities.
“There is a lot we can learn from the Angolan communication landscape, and a lot we can invest in, too. Brazil is now able to export specialized technical labor to cover the absence of Angola’s telecommunications industries. In addition, we can learn from them by observing propagation phenomena in the local climate and geography. The idea is to make a great partnership, ”he says.
Based on this initiative, Aerbras intends soon to hold a workshop here in Brazil, bringing together Anatel, Inacom and Transanet, among others, to create an opportunity to approach, talk and evaluate points of convergence that lead to an improvement. in both markets. “We still have nothing dated, but we intend to meet again and think about how to explore this scenario of potential growth for both countries,” he concludes.
